What's the best way to sell handmade crafts online?

I plan to make a variety of items to make money. Woodcrafts, sewing, jewelry, handdrawn cards, eventually dolls and doll clothes. Ebayers don't seem to get much for their crafts from what I've looked at. Are there some good sites to sell from?

I'm into rubber stamping and scrapbooking and there are several blogs I've found that I go to regularly and sometimes they have stamp sets for sale etc. that they don't want any more. If there's a web site that's dedicated to any of the crafts you do, that has a gallery, tutorials, a forum to ask and answer questions, there may also be a place to sell some of your items.
